Cyber Security Risk Analyst

About The Position

We are looking for a Cyber Security Risk Specialist for our Security Risk and Architecture Domain. In this role your job will be to understand the concepts and modules of the future vehicle and to analyse the risks that may affect the security of the vehicle and its individual systems. You will need to be up to date on current attack vectors and vulnerabilities relevant to the automotive industry, building and maintaining threat catalogues, collaborate with the team to develop new tools and support our other teams along the development lifecycle. You will be able to work in an agile manner, advise and steer customer projects from a security risk perspective.

Tasks:

  • Risk assessment of specific modules and entire end to end systems starting from concept phase – including the entire vehicle ecosystem – vehicle ECU, functions, connectivity, backend and mobile
  • Establishment and maintenance of threat catalogues – technology (cryptography, software integrity, communication manipulation) and domain (autonomous driving, infotainment, powertrain, core connectivity and computing) specific
  • Development of technical security controls and security requirements
  • Develop and implement security concepts according to the requested Risk assessment
  • Coordinate implementation of security concepts in the general architecture
  • Security Governance and Compliance for Automotive-specific cybersecurity regulations

Requirements

  • Sc. Computer Science or related technical certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, CompTia Security+, etc.)
  • More than 3 years of experience in risk analysis of IT systems or related IT security experience in at least two domains
  • Experience in at least two of the following: Network communications, cryptography, identity management, application development – application security, code analysis / pen testing, Cloud Security
  • Capability to lead independently projects and coordinate a multi-disciplinary team of experts
  • Capacity of first principle thinking analysis and development of complex theoretical models
  • Excellent German and English skills (reading, writing, speaking)
