At the present time, the number of members of the committee still does not allow the formation of subcommittees or the presence of a representative in each state or region, but by joining a larger number of members under the umbrella of the committee, this proposal will be applied.
About volunteering to work within the committee’s teams, there are no specific conditions except for residency in Germany and the desire to work in addition to the ability to commit and commit time for that. As for the seven members of the Liaison Committee, membership in the JEA and payment of the annual subscription is required. It is worth noting that the members are chosen annually with the approval of the association. For details of selecting the members of the current committee, please refer to Question No. 3.
The liaison committee a group of engineers volunteered to serve their colleagues in Germany and Jordan, where the current members took the initiative to reactivate the committee in Germany and were approved by JEA in Amman in April 2020.
It should be noted that the members of the administrative body of the liaison committees are periodically reconstituted by JEA. For details, please review the internal instructions for the work of the branches and the external liaison committees issued based on the text of Article (3 / A / 3) of the bylaws of the JEA Syndicate.
Contact information for members is available, but out of respect for the desire of some to preserve their privacy, the committee will not be able to publish this information. Any member who needs any information can contact the committee and the committee will try to help as much as possible.

JEA has recently supported German language courses in Jordan in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour. The first phase of this project has been completed and any information regarding similar projects will be published, so please keep an eye on the NEWS section of this website to get updates once they are available.
On the other hand, the committee, among its planned activities in Germany, will communicate with various language centres to try to obtain offers for language courses at reduced prices.
The committee targets with its services all engineers residing in Germany, whether job seekers or those working in the academic or professional domains in all possible fields.
As explained in the committee’s vision and objectives, this committee is concerned with serving and supporting engineers in Germany scientifically and professionally, in addition to helping them and their families socially and facilitating communication between engineers with each other. Therefore, the committee does not adopt any ideological or political views.
The diversity of the committee members’ expertise enhances its ability to help in various fields and facilitates the exchange of experiences and integration of efforts with the rest of the committees currently working from different countries in the fields of engineering. Also, the relationship of the current committee with the other existing committees is an integrative relationship, as everyone aims to serve the engineers.
This topic will be raised and discussed with JEA in Amman to provide this service to our colleagues in Germany.
One of the most important objectives of the committee is to facilitate the exchange of experiences and knowledge between engineers from different fields in Germany and Jordan, and to transfer different experiences from Germany to engineers in Jordan in cooperation with JEA. The committee also works to facilitate communication between engineers for the purpose of achieving these goals.
One way to exchange experiences will be the establishment of professional courses at nominal prices for engineers, especially in Jordan. Another way is our articles published in the Blog section of this website.
Meetings will be held with representatives from the job market from various sectors of companies and factories, and engineers will be provided with updated information on the market in Germany.
The focus of the committee is to help engineers, whether they are residing in Germany for study or for work.
In addition, the committee will try, to some extent, to assist engineers who reside in Jordan and who intend to move to Germany for any of the two previously mentioned purposes.
It is not within the competence of the committee, but advice can be provided in case of communicating with one of its members via e-mail.
Periodic meetings will be held with engineers to listen to their views and inquiries and discuss some important matters.
This topic is outside the jurisdiction of the Committee, as it is a topic that carries a purely legal status between the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Federal Republic of Germany.
The required language level varies according to the field of work or the study program, but it is recommended to obtain an advanced language level to increase the chances of working or studying in Germany.
Please understand that answering these and other similar questions is outside the competence and powers of the Committee, as it requires knowledge and experience of German law, which may differ between different German provinces. Accordingly, it is difficult for the Committee to provide formal and clear answers in this regard.
But it is possible to communicate with individuals working and living in Germany to benefit from their personal experiences.
